Chara gar rotay hain taza zakhmon ko
Dil ki bemari purani or hay

Jo kaha ham nay who mazmoon or tha
Tarjuman ki tarjumani or hay

Hay basat e dil lahoo ki ik bond
Chashm e pur khon ki rawani or hay

Naamah bar ko kuch bhi ham paygham dain
Dastan us nay sunani or hay

Aab e zam zam dost laaye hain abas
Ham jo peetay hain who pani or hay

Sab kayamat kamaton ko daikh lo
Kya maray jana ka sani or hay

Shairi karti hay ik duniya faraz
Par teri saada bayani or hay
