guzry dinon ki bhuli hui bat ki tarha
ankhon main jagta hai koi rat ki tarha
os se umeed thi k nabhaye ga sath
magar wo b badal gya mery halaat ki tarha

dekha mujhe to chhor diye muskura k haath,
dena woh us ka saaghar-o-mae yaad he nizaam,
mun pher ker udhar ko, idhar ko barha k haath!!
