ghazal bahana karun aur gungunawun usay

wo khaar khaar hai shaakh-e-gulab ki maanind
mai zakhm zakhm hun phir be gale lagawun usay

ser-e-bazm yun unhe dekh ker, tera monh chupanay ka shekrya
jo zamanay bher ka asool tha, wo asool tum ne nibha diya
yehi rasm thehray gi motber, muje bhool janay ka shukerya...

naseeb subh-e-urooj ho to nazar men sham-e-zawal rakhna

jo tera gham hae, wo gham hae mera, teri khushi men meri khushi hae
jo ho sakey to, tu khush hi rehna, meri khushi ka khayal rakhna
