That what i said last night to BZU ki sahabi kabhi bhi huzur S.W ko maula nahi kehte the.. yeh parhne wale ne khud add kia hoga..

I don't know kay sahabi rasoolullah SAW ko moula kehta thay ya nahi, lekin moula kay buhut saray meanings nikaltay hain arabic main behtreen dost, bhai, chacha zad bhai, khala zad bhai etc bhi hain..

Maula Literally means protector. Allah T'ala describes Himself as the Maula of the believers. See The Qur'an, Al-Baqarah (2:256), Aali 'Imran (3:152), Al-Hajj (22:78). Maula also has the meaning of 'master'.
1. Satan is the Maula to the unbelievers.
2. The master is a Maula to his slave. Maula is also the term used to describe a freed slave who remains as part of the family.
