Raja Ashraf rules out further efforts for reconciliation
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf Sunday said Pakistan Peoples Party tried its best to avoid a confrontation with PML-N but now the time for making efforts for reconciliation is over.
Addressing a press conference here, he said now the Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N are on different paths.
He said PPPP cannot stay silent over the criticism of President Asif Ali Zardari. PPPP will not come under any pressure by long march and sit-in, he added.
“It has come down to numbers game in Punjab province. We will sit in opposition if we fail to gain majority in Punjab,” Raja Pervez Ashraf said.
He said the PML-N should have rebelled against former president Pervez Musharraf.
