wo jo us ki subha e arooj the
wohi mera waqt e zawaal tha

kahan jao gy mujhy chor kr
mein ye pooch pooch ker thuk gaya

wo jawab mujh ko na day saka
wo to khud sarapa sawal tha

wo jo us k samny aa gaya
wohi roshni mein naha gaya

ajab us ki haibat e husn the
ajab us ka rang e jamaal tha

dam e wapsi usy kia howa
na wo tazgi na wo roshni

wo sitara kaisa bikhar gaya
jo ap apni misaal tha

wo mila to sadiyoun k baad b
mery lub pe koi gila na tha

usy meri chup ny rula diya
jisy guftagu mein kamaal tha

mery sath lag k wo ro diya
mujhy fakhri itna wo keh saka

jisy janta tha mein zindgi
wo to sirf wehm o khiyal tha.
