Koi waqt purana yaad aaya
Koi dost suhana yaad aaya

Or chaak se in divaaron par
Khuch likh kar jana yaad aaya

Tera milna neem ki chhaon mein
Aur sir rakh dena kandhe par

Mera ye kehna koi daikh na le
tera wo ghabrana yaad aaya

Kabhi aisa bhi to hota tha
main tujh ko chorne jata tha

Jab wapas aane lagta tha
tera haath hilana yaad aaya

Wo waqt gia lamhe beet gae
ab har janib tanhai hai

Ab aik hai manzar aankhon mein
Tera chor ke jana yaad aaya..
