 How to Modify your Modem to very High Speeds
First, u need to goto Start, then run. Type in regedit in the box. Next, goto the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\VxD\MS TCP Now, find the string DefaultRcvWindow . Now, edit the number to 64240 then restart your computer. There you go. High speed cable modem now with out dloading a program. Original value is 373360

How much the modem speed will up by doing this, Any idea? But what do you think about the 64 KB/s capacity if the Modem.. Well Now a days we are using PTCL broad band Is ki modem speed enhance karnay ka koi method hay kiya? Humarai tu downloading speed 65 KB/s aati hay. with 512 kbit Connection..

YES you are right !!!!!!!!! BUT You know that it is also not 64k but it is rather 56k. And it is not a speed, but it is throughput. You can say it downloading speed. if your speed is 4k. may be it is upgraded with 5k.

i used windows xp. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\VxD\MS TCP can not exit what i do now........................? |
