” I’m seriously considering to believe in Aamir Khan”. This was what Ram Gopal Varma tweeted after observing the stupendous applause and success of Aamir Khan Productions’ “Delhi Belly”. Ramu’s tweet says that he never believed in Ram, Allah or Jesus but, considering what Aamir Khan Productions’ successful ventures – “Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par and Delhi Belly” have done, he can’t help but start believing in Aamir Khan. Ramu is going gaga about Aamir’s calibre as a producer and the kind of experimental films he is churning out.
Ramu mentions in the tweet that the success of “Delhi Belly” makes him feel like an insect and he would crawl underneath a rock and die in solitude. It is not just making this subject possible that goes to Aamir’s credit but, the success of the film just makes me think that people should stop trusting god and believe in AK completely.
Ironically, RGV has not watched this film yet, as he considers that the subject does not cater to his taste. But still, “Aamir – The Almighty” for him.
