Akhirat ko bhool baitha Fikr e Duniya kay Evaz,
Mout ka Hamla achanak baikhabar kaisa laga,

Hanstay Hanstay Duniya main guzar de Zindagi,
Ab naya Zair e Zameen yeh tang ghar kaisa laga,

Dafn ker kay Qabr main sab bairukhi say chal diye,
Jis say tu Manoos tha ab wo Bashar kaisa laga,

Tu Hansa kerta tha auron ko peraishan daikh ker,
Chal diya apno ko Rota chor ker kaisa laga,

Ab na wo Takiya Mulaim na wo Bistr e Makhmal,
Jism per do guz Kafan Mitti pay sar kaisa laga…
