King Khan Comes Cheaper Than Akki

Rani, Bipasha and King Khan roped in for Kanti Govani's nephew's sangeet.

Everyone knows that the charismatic SRK turns an ordinary evening into an exuberant one with his versatile performances - and considering that rumour has it he charges close to 3 crore for a night he certainly needs to earn his money!

On 30th April the sangeet, which took place at Kamla Mills in Mumbai, was a big starry affair. Famous builder Kanti Govani's nephew was getting married and on the stage were seen Bipasha, Rani and Emraan Hashmi along with SRK himself. Sources reveal that Akki (Akshay Kumar) was approached as first choice but due to his astronomically high prices, it was SRK who finally took centre stage.

The wedding took place on Sunday 3rd May. But it was the sangeet that was much talked about. SRK's performance was termed as King Khan Nite. Since Shahrukh is a real entertainer and ensured that this night was the most memorable one by dancing with the bride. The bride and groom were also blessed by King Khan and he was later seen clicking pictures on and off stage.

Apparently, Akki had earlier danced for the wedding of Kanti Govani's son and its been said he made an entry on horse back. Salman, who performed too, was gifted sports car for his heart throbbing performance.

After the way the Knight Riders have been performing in the recent IPL Season 2, this must come, as a much needed monetary relief for SRK! What say you?
