Finally, after much speculation over who the leading lady will be in Kabir Khan’s directorial next with Salman in the lead, Katrina Kaif has officially landed the role.
Salman Khan who had a few objections to Kat being in the film, has automatically resolved the same. A source close to the film confirmed,
“Katrina and Salman are still very good friends. There is no animosity now.”
Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also being considered for the role.
“But obviously, the role suits Katrina better. Moreover, having worked with Kabir Khan, she is Kabir’s favourite; they share a very good equation,” added the source.
All said and done, this year seems to be turning out really well for the Kaif girl. She now has a film with not just Salman in his post Dabangg glory but also with Shah Rukh to be directed by none other than Yash Chopra himself.
