Aik bekar si diwar gira di mene
door tak chandni angan ma bicha di mene

kaghzi phoolon ka guldan mehek uth'ta tha
phir wahan say teri tasweer hata di mene

har nye gham pe nya zabt ka pathar rakha
or bhi dard ki diwar utha di mene

baat bas ye thi k poocha to bhut pehle ke
apne ik pyar ki tafsil bta di mene

teergi or ubhar ayi thi mre ghar ki
shamma nadim thi so chupke sa bujha di mene
