Software Quality Assurance and Pakistani Software Industry.

The reason Today that Pakistani Software Industry lacks behind the Indian is all becasue of Quality. Why cleints do not give big projects to Pakistani Software Houses? The answer is simple the Lack of Quality in the Final Products / Services delivered to the clients. We are still not a matured Software Industry when we compare ourselves with Indians. The focus on Quality is less and much is on making money for the short terms only. The result is less business for Pakistani Software Houses for this reason.



We all hear about the Quality of Software from multiple sources. But what it actually does mean? A Quality Software is one which is upto the user's expectations and with minimal defects after implementation. Even this is not the complete definition of the Software Quality Assurance, it may also be defined as Conformance to the said requirements by user / client and conformance to the Processes through which Software / services are delivered to the end client.
