A LARGE number of test-takers on Friday complained of massive presence of mosquitoes at the Punjab University s examination centre on Wahdat Road.
The candidates appearing in the test organised by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) for the post of Lecturer in Political Science said the presence of mosquitoes in the centre caused great unrest among them in the wake of dengue fever.
The candidates, including Amir and Sajid, criticised the PU administration and demanded the authorities to take immediate measures for fumigation there.
A PU spokesman said the varsity administration would investigate the issue and take all the necessary measures to ensure clean and hygienic environment to the candidates appearing in exams.
He said the varsity had ensured massive spray on its campuses as a preventive measure against dengue virus.
