The Higher Education Commission (HEC), under its Foreign Funded Scholarship Programme (FFSP), is facilitating Pakistani students to avail 10 scholarships offered by the Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation (AMCI) for the academic year 2011-12.
The scholarships are for undergraduate and graduate level studies in almost all subjects offered by various universities/institutions of Morocco. The selected students will commence their classes in the second week of September 2011.
The scholarship amounts 750 Moroccan dirhams per month which is equal to Rs8,242 per month. HEC, as a nominating agency from Pakistan, has announced these scholarships on its website Untitled 1 for potential applicants from all over the country.
The deadline for submission of applications is July 25, 2011. Afterwards HEC will send nominations of eligible students to the Moroccan authorities for final selection. So far, HEC has announced Batch-VII of Indigenous 5000 PhD Fellowship Programme and overseas scholarships for MS/MPhil leading to PhD in selected fields (Phase-II). In addition, HEC has facilitated award of a number of scholarships for international donors.
