Usnay jab jab bhi mujhay dil say pukara mohsin,
Main nay tab tab yah bataya kay tumhara mohsin

Log sadyon ki khtaon pay bhi khush bastay hain,
Hum ko lamhon ki wafaon nay ujara mohsin

Jab aa gaya yah yaqeen ab woh nahi ayay ga,
Gham or aansoo nay diya dil ko sahara mohsin

Woh tha jab paas to jeenay ko bhi dil karta tha,
Ab to pal bhar bhi nahi hota guzara mohsin

Us ko apana to muqadar ki lakeron main nahi,
Us ka khona bhi karain kaisay gawara mohsin
