es zamee'n per to asma'n hai tu
sham-e-sheher-e-udaas k wali
ay mere meherba'n kahan hai tu?
lamha bher muj se ruthnay walay
zindagi bher ki dastaa'n hai tu
jo muqader sanwaar dete hain
un sitaron ki kehkasha'n hai tu
be-nisha'n be-nisha'n khyaam mere
karwan karwan, rawaa'n hai tu
jaltay rehna chrag-e-akher-e-shab
apnay mohsin ka raazda'n hai tu
