Heart hum aaj se khushbu ka taqaaza na karengey
Azmat ka kisi phool ki sauda na karengey
hum aaj se khushbu ka taqaaza na karengey

aankho.n mei chubhey aap ki taabeer hi jis ki
aisaa ho koi khwaab to dekhaa na karengey

jo aap ke hi naam se aatey hain zabaa.n per
wo harf kisi aur pe zaayaa na karengey

sab log samajhtey hai isey aap ki soorat
deewaar pe hum chaand banaaya na karengey

ik rooh bhi aazaad hui qaid e badan se
is qatl ka qaatil se bhi shikwaa na karengey

kya raah dikhayegi jo gum-raah mili khud
is aql pe ab aur bharosaa na karengey
