"Tearful Chearful"

Been feeling very sad,
very sad indeed.
Felt this way a while,
not sure what I need.
Heads up, next week
heads down, drown.
Toss a coin for a life,
on a flip end the strife.

But shouldn't joke,
might get me thinking.
I'd probably regret it
having started sinking.
Just don't feel mentally fit,
can't stop, sorrow drinking.
Positivity's the difficult bit,
with my life, it's not linking.

But can't be doing with self pitty,
only makes you feel more shitty.
The sympathy's nice,
until it becomes food.
You end up starving,
'a retch in a mood'.
But I've started carving,
a jolly new groove.

It's a new style, one I grew .
Based on stopping before the beat,
really saves a tear or two.
It's out of sync, but no great feat.
If I loose the time I do feel blue.
But when it's back, it sounds so sweet.
Say it with me, feel like new,
'life rolls high, so I will too!'
