You might be experienced for the Folder option that some times disappears under the tools menu, Picture is attached for your simplicity. It happens most of the time because of some virus attack. Don’t worry now here is a solution for this kind of problem with your system.
- Go to Start
- Click Run
- Type “gpedit.msc”
- Expand “User Configuration”
- Expand “Administrative Templates”
- Expand “Windows Components”
- Click “Windows Explorer”
- Double click “Removes Folder Options menu from Tools men”
- Enable it first and then Disable Afterwards close all the Windows Explorer or any other Windows and see if that works, it most probably should.

-Go to start
-Click Run
-Type “regedit.exe”
-Expand “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”
-Expand “SOFTWARE”
-Expand “Microsoft”
-Expand “Windows”
-Expand “CurrentVersion”
-Expand “policies”
-Click explorer
-At your right hand panel you should see a value called NoFolderOptions change its value to 0.
-Note : - 0 means to disable it and 1 means you want to hide it.
