 Protest against PU dues hike
THE Islami Jamiat Talaba (Punjab University) on Thursday staged a protest demonstration over the rise in dues of departments as well as of hostels. IJT PU Nazim Zubair Safdar said that Rs 4,000 were increased in departments dues and 1,400 rupees hike in hostel dues which was not acceptable for the students. He was of the view that the government was depriving students of their basic right of education by increasing fee charges. |
