Subject:- ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A RESEARCH ASSOICIATE FOR THE PROJECT “GENETIC DIVERSITY IN WHITEFLY: IMPLICATIONS FOR LEAF CURL VIRUS MANAGEMENT. It is submitted that Dr. Hussnain Sayyed, Foreign Professor, Institute of Biotechnology/ Principal Investigator of HEC Project has vide PUC requested/ intimated as under :- “Recently HEC Pakistan has awarded the above mentioned project worth Rs.1.00 million. The budget of the project has already been transferred to us for the entire duration of the project. The project has the option of an appointment of a research associate for two years with cumulative salary package of Rs.10,000 per month. To appoint the research associate for the project, would you please help us to advertise the position (advertisement is enclosed) and complete the selection process. The Director, Institute of Biotechnology of this University has forwarded the case. If agreed, the request of Dr. Hussnain Sayyed, Foreign Professor, Institute of Biotechnology/ Principal Investigator of HEC Project, regarding advertisement for the post of Research Associate @ Rs.10,000/- per month for the duration of 2-years under the HEC Research Project entitled “GENETIC DIVERSITY IN WHITEFLY: IMPLICATIONS FOR LEAF CURL VIRUS MANAGEMENT,may be submitted to the Vice-Chancellor to the grant of approval to publish the position of Research Associate in the press.
