Nurm lehron k chheenty uraati hoi
Baat-by-baat hansti hoi
Apny khuabon k shehzadon ka tazkarah ker rahi thin
Jo khamosh thin
Unki ankhon main bhi muskurahat ki tehreer thi
Door sahil py bethi hoi ek nanhi si bachi
Humari hansi or mojon k ahaang sy by-khaber
Reyt sy ek nanha gharonda banany main masroof thi
Or main sochti thi
KHUDAYA! yeh hum lerkian
Kachi umron sy hi
KHUAB kion dekhna chahti hain

Mujh ko tum kesy bhulaty ho, kahan hoty ho

Mujh sy bichhery ho to mehboob-e-nazar ho kis k
Ajj kal kis ko manaty ho, kahan hoty ho...............

Shab ki tanhai main akser yeh khayal aata hy
Apny dukh kis ko sunaty ho, kahan hoty ho

Tum to khushion ki rafaqat k liy bichhery thy
Ab ager ashk bahaty ho, kahan hoty ho........

Shyher k loog bhi WASIQ yehi kerty hain sawal
Abb buhat kam nazar aaty ho, kahan hoty ho.
