 "Haqqani Network" in 1985
The Haqqanis were once hailed by President Ronald Reagan as "moral equivalents of America's founding fathers" and described by US Congressman Charlie Wilson as “goodness personified”. They even made it to the White House in 1985! If America was "supporting" the "Haqqani Network" in 1985, then what is wrong when Pakistan does the same?
