ajab junoon-e-musafat main ghar se nikla tha
khabar nahi ke sooruj kidhar se nikla tha

ye kon phir se mujhy raston main chor gaya
abhi abhi to azaab-e-safar se nikla nikla tha

ye teer dil main magar be sabab nahi utra
koi to hurf lub-e-charagar se nikla tha

men raat toot kar roya to chain se soya
ke dil ka zahar meri chusm-e-tar se nikla tha

wo qais ab jisay majnoo pokarty hen log
meri terha koi deewana ghar se nikla tha
