Imran Khan has paid rich tribute to umpire Aleem Dar for enlightening the name of the country in the world of cricket. He said,“I like to congratulate Aleem for his good work in the World Cup as it has provided an opportunity to the nation to feel proud.” Then he decorated Aleem with a golden crown and Ijaz Butt offered him a gold medal on behalf of LCCA secretary Mian Javed Ali. Whereas Aleem Dar announced Rs1 million for Imran Khan's flood-relief fund.



UDRS results: Aleem Dar hasn’t had single decision overturned. 162 decisions have been reviewed so far, of which 35 have been upheld (original decision changed), while 127 have been struck down. Among the umpires, Aleem Dar, Ian Gould and Billy Bowden haven't had a single decision overturned through the UDRS. At the other end of the scale are Asoka de Silva and Daryl Harper, with 50% or more of their decisions being overturned.
