Ayurveda is known for its holistic approach to health. Both the curative and preventive therapies of Ayurveda have proven effective and its rejuvenating procedures are very popular among people across the world. Ayurvedic treatments are based on the principles set by the ancient sages who had contributed much to this discipline. At the same time, this discipline has evolved to encompass and explain even the newly emerging trends/diseases in the world. Still, researches are on to find out Ayurvedic remedies for a lot of newly-recognised diseases, For example, everyone might have heard of a variety of ancient Ayurvedic treatments like piles ayurvedic treatment, arthritis Ayurvedic treatment, back-pain Ayurvedic treatment etc. But the diseases, which are of comparatively recent origin, like Parkinson’s, too have found remedy in Ayurveda. Ayurvedic practitioners say that the ancient Ayurvedic texts speak about health in terms of the perfect balance of three humours – vata, pita and kapha – in the body. The diseases are the result of imbalance of any of these humours and the practitioner has to identify the humour responsible for the disease and treat the patient accordingly. The rejuvenation therapies in Ayurveda help regain the vigour, energy and flexibility of the body and at the same time it helps beat your age. The skin care and beauty care methods of Ayurveda too have gained popularity, thanks to the easy availability of the herbs, which ensure positive results without side effects. | jian Little Baby Join Date: Jan 2011
