Tanu Weds Manu is a rom-com flick directed by Aanand Rai. It stars Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles. The film is a story of a sweet and shy NRI doctor (Madhavan), who comes to the city of Kanpur to marry a simple girl (Kangna). She may look the seedhi-saadi types but contrary to that she is nowhere close to being simple. She is brash, alcoholic lover(neat) and hates arrange marriages. Kangana is seen mouthing some witty dialogues too.
