Punjab University (PU) administration tortured protesting students and the AAJ News team on Monday.


According to the details, a large number of students from University’s Institute of Plant Pathology gathered outside Vice Chancellor’s (VC) office to protest against teaching them unrecognized degrees. The security guards immediately started to torture the protesting students when some of them attempted to enter the VC office.
Meanwhile, the PU administration and security guard also tortured and manhandled the AAJ News team, along with other media representatives, for covering the incident. The university staff also snatched and damaged the news camera from the AAJ team.
