Announce National ICT R&D Fund announces National ICT Scholarship Program 2010 FOR A PROSPEROUS PAKISTAN

National ICT R&D Fund is offering fully funded scholarships for talented students from rural/non-metropolitan areas of Pakistan with the objective to develop human resource capacity in ICT fields in Pakistan. The National ICT Scholarship Program 2010 (NICTSP 2010) will provide fully funded 4 year undergraduate degree scholarships in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related disciplines in the top ICT universities of Pakistan, and hence enhance capacity in the best ICT related educational institutions.
The Government of Pakistan plans to expand the program this year by increasing the outreach by including twelve more universities to provide students access to more quality educational institutions of their choice.
National ICT R&D Fund will also facilitate Training of Teachers and Foundation Training for students to enhance the skills needed for attempting aptitude based university admission tests. Students will later appear for a customized MCQ based aptitude test called "National ICT-Scholarship Award Test".
This program is run with the financial collaboration of Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) of Government of Pakistan.

National ICT R&D Fund’s objective is to develop human resource capacity in ICT fields by providing equal opportunities to the talented students of rural/non-metropolitan areas of Pakistan.
Registration forms will be available from the Principal's office of the registered schools/colleges across Pakistan.
Applicants are instructed to submit only one (01) Student's Registration Form for the year 2010. Submission of multiple forms from a single applicant shall not be entertained and could result in cancellation of registration.
Applicants are required to submit duly filled Student's Registration Forms directly via postal mail to the following address to ensure delivery not later than Monday, 03 May 2010. These forms could also be submitted to your respective school/college principal not later than the deadline advised by the Principal.
It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure on time delivery of Student's Registration Form to the following address by means of their choice.
