Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary on Monday hearing case taken Suo Motu notice ordered DPO Multan to submit reply on the next date of hearing fixed as November 8.As proceeding started a report was submitted before the Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary from Session Judge Multan according to which the torture on the students of Bahauddin Zakrya University Multan. The inquiry report consisted on more than 150 pages proved immense torture on the body of two students of Bahayuddin Zakria University.Chief Justice after receiving the report ordered District Police Office (DPO) Multan to appear before the court and submit reply about it and fixed the next date as November 8, for further proceedings.Earlier The Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary on Tuesday took Suo Motu notice on brutal torture of a student union upon two students of Bahaudin Zikriya University Multan.The Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary also ordered Multan Sessions Judge to hold an inquiry of the incident and submit report about the incident to the High Court. Suo Motu was taken on the basis of news items published in different newspapers about the brutality on the student or respective university.Student Unions after abducting two students including Wasim and Hassan they subjected them to inhumane treatment. The culprits filmed the brutality with the Students and sent the videos to their families. Media reports say that father of Wasim died after seeing the videos consisting on brutality.Chief Justice remarked that respect of humanity was the fundamental right and this is totally prohibited under section 14 of the constitution. No one should be subjected to torture. This is inhuman and absolutely against the constitution.
