Hichkian raat ko aati hi rahein, Tum nay phir yaad kiya ho jasay

Yuon na mil mujh say khafa ho jasay,

Sath chal aysay, moj e asaba ho jasay

Log yuon daikh kay hans datay hain,

Tu mujhay bhool gaya ho jasay

Ishq ko shirk ki had tak na barha,

Yuon na mil humsay khuda ho jasay

Ab to moat bhi aayay gi is naaz say,

Mujh pay ehsaan kiya ho jasay

Asay anjan banay baithay ho tum,

Tum ko kuch bhi na pata ho jasay

Hichkian raat ko aati hi rahein,

Tum nay phir yaad kiya ho jasay

Zindagi beet rahi hay yuon hi,

Ik be-jurm saza ho jasay
