Dua nahi to gila deta koi
Mairi wafaon ka sila deta koi

Jab muqaddar hi nahi tha apna
Deta bhi to kia deta koi

Hasil-e-ishq faqat dard hai
Ay kaash pehle hi bata deta koi

Taqdeer main nahi tha agar aasmaan chuna
Khaak main hi mila deta koi

Gumaan hi hojata kisi apne ka
Daman hi pakar ke hila deta koi

Ek arse se atka hai hichkiyon pay dam
Acha hota jo bhula deta koi

Ye zindagi to ro ro ke kat gai
Kia hota jo agar hansa deta koi!!
