Rona bhi jo chahen to wo rone nahi deta
Wo shaks to palken bhi bhigone nahi deta


Wo roz rulata hai hame khwab me aakar
Sona bhi jo chahen to sone nahi deta,


Ye kis ke ishare pe umad aye hain baadal
Hai kaun jo barsat bhi hone nahi deta



Aata hai khayalon me mere kaun ye aksar,
Jo muzhko kisi aur ka hone nahi deta,



Ik shakhs hai aisa meri basti me abhi tak
Jo bojh akele muzhe done nahi deta,



Mai hoon ke bahaata hoon teri yaad me aansoo,
Tu hai ke ashkon ko pirone nahi deta,



Wo chehra ajab hai jise paakar mai abhi tak,
Khona bhi chahoon to khone nahi deta



Thame hue lahron kee husn-e-baag koi too,
Sahil ko samandar me doobone nahi deta..
