sehan-e-gul chor gya, dil mera pagal nikla
jab usay dhundny niklay to nisha'n tak na mila
dil mai mojood raha ankh se ojhal nikla
eik mulaqaat thi jo dil ko sada yad rahi
ham jisay umer samajhty thy wo ek pal nikla
wo jo afsana-e-gham sun k hansa kerty thy
itna roye hain k sab ankh ka kajal nikla
rang badla bhi mager teregi-e-shab na gae
mai jisay chand samjhta tha wo badal nikla
kon Ayoob presha'n nahi tareeki mai
chand aflaak pe,dil seeny mai be-kal nikla
