Distribution of people on the basis of economy is called stratification.class is the group of peoples..Major social classes are on the basis of Occupation,wealth and Education..Basically these are subcultures.
Criminal,Rich,Poor culture is the way of living..
Status Symbol:
Particular character of culture Traits which are associated to the class is called status symbol...


Size of the class moves from one class to another class,This is called social mobility ..Or it may said that is due to the movement from one economic status to another class..
Types of mobility are Horizontal Mobility and Vertical Mobility..
Horizontal Mobility: change in profession but not change in income is called horizontal mobility ...
Vertical Mobility: May upward or downward it is due to increase in the income due to higher /increase in education of the individual and his luck...
