Meet the new tallest man of the world

HE is the world's tallest man, with the world's biggest hands and feet.

Meet 8ft 1in Sultan Kosen.

The 26-year-old Turkish tractor driver was visiting London to be crowned World's Tallest Man by Guinness World Records after a worldwide search - and I still have a crick in my neck.

He replaces Mongolian goatherd Xi Shun, who held the title from 2005 but is four inches shorter.

Sultan said of his entry into the record books: "This makes me feel very special. I am happy and proud but it wasn't always like that. When I was younger I used to get teased. Today I really can walk tall."

Now the gentle giant is looking for love and hopes his new-found fame will help him find a leggy beauty to settle down with.
