Have Fun while Riding !!

This is the first ever Strata Coaster, which is located at Cedar Point Amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. Many riders feel that this ride is exactly like a dragster starting to accelerate. This boasts the record of the highest drop which is 400 feet (120 m). This is built by Intamin AG, a designing and manufacturing company which is based in Switzerland Riders begin their journey aboard this 42-story screamer by securing themselves into ultra-cool trains that resemble top fuel dragsters. The train then moves into a "starting line" position, where it is launched forward, reaching 120 mph in approximately four seconds. The train then zooms straight up the 420-foot-tall hill on track that rotates 90 degrees, crests the coaster's apex and then free falls back to Earth. As the train races 400 feet to the ground, the track twists an unbelievable 270 degrees giving a riders a memorable riding experience.
Located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey, USA became the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, breaking the record set by Top Thrill Dragster as of its opening in May 21, 2005. This train is powered by a Hydraulic launch mechanism which gains a speed of 128 miles per hour (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. This climbs the main tower reaching a height of 456 feet (139.5m) at the end of the launch track. The tower is equipped with three dual strobes due to aviation safety concerns.
The train climbs the main tower at the end of the launch track twisting 90 degrees to the left before reaching its top height, then descends 418 feet (127 m) straight down through a 270 degree spiral. At the end the train climbs the second hill which is 129 feet fall making a moment of weightlessness before being smoothly brought to a stop using the magnetic brakes. The train enters the station with a U-turn. The ride has an official ride time of 50.6 seconds but it only lasts 28 seconds from the start of the launch to the end of the brake run.
This coaster contains two cameras which are placed shortly after the launch and the other at the end of the break run. Because of the high speed and as trains are open hooded this ride doesn’t operate even in a light rain as rider contact with rain drops be a discomfort to the riders.
This is a must visit ride for any thrill loving roller coaster fan!!
