Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) News BZU announces M.A. Urdu Part-I result MULTAN, July 05: Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan has announced the result of M.A. Urdu Part-I (Annual System) 1st Annual Examination, 2007 held in January-February, 2008. According to the result notification issued here a total number of 560 candidates appeared in the examination and of these 243 were declared successful and the success rate remained 43.39 percent. A total number of 357 female candidates appeared in the examination out of total 560 and of these 196 succeeded to get passed with pass percentage of 54.90. |

BZU announces result of B.Com Part-II BZU announces result of B.Com Part-II Our Correspondent MULTAN, July 7: Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan has announced the result of B. Com, Part-II (Annual System) 1st Annual Examination, 2008 held in April-May, 2008. According to the result notification issued here a total number of 3345 candidates appeared in the examination of Bachelors of Commerce and of these 1696 were declared successful and the success rate remained 50.70 percent. A total number of 590 female candidates out of 3345 appeared in the examination and of these 395 succeeded to get pass with pass percentage of 66.95. |

Psychology Part-I and M.A. Seraiki Part-II result Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan has announced the results of M.Sc. Psychology Part-I (Annual System) 1st Annual Examination, 2007 held in January-February, 2008 and M.A. Seraiki Part-II (Annual System) 1st Annual Examination, 2007 held in January-March, 2008. 4 IJT students injured by PSF 4 IJT students injured by PSF For Islami Jamiat-i-Tulaba (IJT) student M Usman, M Sadiq, M Abbas and M Qasim sustained serious injured when some PSF students attacked IJT students in order to remove a camp set up at the BZ University here on Wednesday. An IJT spokesman told that IJT had established its reception in BZU to welcome the new comers and admission seekers but PSF activists attacked them and injured our four colleagues. While PSF leader Rana Muhammad Arif alleged that IJT activists attacked on them and injured their two students. |
IJT, ISO, PSF students stage demos in BZU IJT demands arrest of accused IJT, ISO, PSF students stage demos in BZU Students of IJT staged demonstration on Thursday in front of the BZU Vice Chancellor?s office and demanded the arrest of PSF students who set the information camp of the IJT on fire. The demonstration, which continued for quite some time, was largely attended by students. The IJT students chanted slogans against BZU administration and local police. Mr. Raoof Nazim IJT and Mr. Luqman Secretary Information IJT strongly condemned the PSF attack on IJT students and setting the IJT camp on fire at the BZU on Wednesday in which four IJT students were injured. They warned the police and the BZU that IJT would be forced to launch agitation in case the PSF students involved in attack and burning of IJT camp were not arrested immediately. Meanwhile PSF and Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) set up information camps in the university, which were uprooted and removed by the police under the instructions of the BZU administration. ISO and PSF also staged demonstrations and shouted slogans against police and BZU administration. Mr. Jamshed Dasti MNA from Muzaffargarh also attended the demonstration and said that the vice chancellor was not impartial and demanded his removal. The MNA also met the VC Prof. Dr. Zafarullah and pressurised him to allow PSF to set-up their camp. DSP Multan Saddar Police Ghulam Muhammad said that the police removed camps of ISO and PSF on the instructions of the vice chancellor. |
