Punjab University meeting
 

A MEETING of Punjab University Convocation Committee was held on Tuesday at the committee room of Undergraduate Study Centre under the chairmanship of its Convener Prof Dr Khawaja Haris Rashid. The meeting reviewed arrangements for 120th Convocation to be held on 31st of December this year. The committee members later visited the Faisal Auditorium to see the pace of work on the spot.
PhD: Punjab University Institute of Education & Research (IER) Lecturer Dr Muhammad Shahid Farooq has completed his PhD degree in the Educational Sciences with distinction from Universite Lumiere Lyon2, France.
Dr Muhammad Shahid Farooq completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof Dr Jean-Claude Regnier. He was awarded scholarship for PhD by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Dr Shahid Farooq had also earned PhD in Special Education from the Punjab University.
Lecture: Punjab University Institute of Chemistry’s Assistant Professor Dr Muhammad Imtiaz Shafiq delivered a lecture and hands-on training session on “Molecular Modelling and Structural Bioinformatics” during a training workshop on “Bioinformatics Applications in Biotechnology for young Biotechnologists.” on Tuesday.
