Rechecking, new results within 45 days

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that not a single day of the educational year of any student throughout Punjab will be allowed to waste due to the flaws and delay in the results of educational boards. He was addressing the members of national and provincial assemblies and office-bearers of the PML-N here on Sunday. Shahbaz said he fully realised the inconvenience faced by the students and their parents due to the flaws in the results and equally shared their concern. He said that all arrangements regarding rechecking of results of Inter Part-I and its announcement within 45 days had been completed and not a single day extension to this date would be tolerated. He said the government was fully aware of the elements responsible for the flaws in the results and they would be taken to task.
Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday went to Koh-e-Noor Housing Scheme, Kot Lakhpat, and gave a cheque of Rs0.5 million to Muhammad Amjad, son of Ulfat Begum who died due to dengue. Expressing his sorrow to the heirs to the deceased, Shahbaz said that financial assistance could not be a compensation for any precious life, however, he shared the aggrieved familyís grief. He offered prayers and prayed that Allah might rest the departed soul in eternal peace. Later, when the chief minister was about to leave, a large number of people of the area gathered and lauded the chief minister for his efforts for eradication of dengue virus.
Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz said that he was standing by the people in the war against dengue and would not rest till the elimination of the virus. He said that a comprehensive strategy had been evolved for eradication of dengue and medicines and machinery had been imported.
