Sorry! BZU Internet Policy does not allow access to this page! Assalam-o-Alaikum! Hello friends! Today was the Announcement of BS-IT 2007-11 result among other classes! Well you know what happened! Nothing special! :cry: So I decided to use internet in Central Library. I was very dissapointed to see that some websites are being blocked by the BZU main server which we all know is located in our department. This page appeared when I wanted to visit a geocities website. http://awamaaa.s5.com/images/bzu%20error.GIF Geocities is being blocked because it is in Private Homepages Category. In the same way the famous website YouTube is also being blocked because it is TV/Entertainment Category! I am totally against it! They are using automatic software (Panda Security) to block these websites as we all know that these websites are also very useful for education. If they are blocking Geocities then how we gonna build websites? If they are blocking YouTube then how we gonna watch many Islamic, Scientific and other informative videos? Department of Computer Science should manually block all the non-apropriate pages. Note: I am saying 'Pages', not websites. Pages are different from Websites. They should learn something from Saudi Arabia. They are also blocking non-apropriate pages but are not blocking the whole website! My request to the Chairman of the Computer Science Department is this that "Please have some action on this type issue " Please give me some of your valuable time by leaving comments! Thanks alot! |

No problem, BSIT Internet Policy allows them:wave2: I have also noted the same problem, Orkut, Facebook and myspace are also blocked... But don't worry Brother.. till the students of bsit07-11 are alive.. You may Use Proxy sites to browse all these blocked sites, But when I tried to open these proxy sites, I came to know that almost all are bloked by my dear PANDA:angry9: Then I searched out for proxy sites and found this site which is not blocked there (all other proxies are also blocked) So please try this Kisi ko batana nahin, Nahin tu PANDA Sahib Isay bhi block kar dain gay Thanks |

Wasif I think you should remove those links otherwise Uncle Panda will get this website soon and will block it! And if not then may be the chariman of Computer Science department will take some action against us. So please remove the links! I hope you understand! |

This is because of only 1 click. They just have activated the automatic gateway guard and forgot to uncheck the sports and music categories. Its just like a parental control system of my Kaspersky Internet Security. |

I request someone to test it and Let others know that it works or not... Mere Khayal Mein "It should Work".. This applet creates it's own proxy server on your PC and adds it's setting to Internet Explorer...This software has it's own servers located in "THE PLANET" Data Center, and assigns their own IP addresses to your PC . So I can not guarantee the PRIVACY ... If you are using any browser other than Internet Explorer you should have to change the proxy setting to IP: 127.0.0.1 or localhost Port: 9666 I think You may also need to set the proxy setting of this software to your old proxy settings (PROXY SERVER OF BZU) NOTE: We are not providing to use it illegally . But are providing to use it for any positive use .. Like some Students complain that they want to watch tutorials from Youtube but site is blocked... ETC... |
