Private students Relevant regularity authority to train teachers
 
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) will cease to monitor and register the private schools after the establishment of Private Schools Regulatory Authority which will come into being soon.This was revealed in a high level meeting held at Civil Secretariat in Peshawar on Tuesday. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Arshad Abdullah chaired the meeting while Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education, Sardar Hussain Babak, Minister for Higher Education, Qazi Asad, Minister for Technical Education, Mehmood Zeb, Secretary Education Mushtaq Jadoon, Secretary Higher Education Farrah Hamid, Secretary Administration Hifzur Rahman, Secretary Law, Syed Amiruddin and other high ranking officers attended the meeting on this occasion. The meeting deliberated upon the recommendations for formulation of law of the said regulatory authority.Addressing the meeting, Minister Education said that the proposed regulatory authority would train teachers of private schools. It would work for raising standard of education of private schools as well as monitor the affairs of these schools. The proposed regulatory authority would also register the private schools the task, which was earlier being done by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education. He said that our organizations would no longer perform their role effectively until and unless it were made strengthened.Speaking on the occasion, the Law Minister directed the concerned quarters to finalize recommendations of the committee and submitted to the cabinet before Eidul Fitr so that necessary legislation could be done in this respect.
