Multan:Twin-Marriage ceremony, One groom, two brides
The twin-marriage henna ceremony of Azhar Haidri, the only brother of nine sisters and a resident of Jogyoan Wala near Haram Gate Multan, is due today, Dunya news reported on Saturday.
Azhar Haidri, son of Qasoor Haider Rizvi who is a stage actor and a resident of Jogyoan Wala Haram Gate Multan, is due to marry two of his cousins. One of them is his maternal cousin Humaira Qasim while the other is his paternal cousin Romanwa. Nikah of Azhar Hiadri with Romanwa has already taken place while the other Nikah with Humaira Qasim is due by tomorrow.
22-year-old Azhar is the only brother of his nine sisters and a Hakeem (homeopathic doctor) by profession. Azhar’s relatives are of the view that they would feel elated even if Azhar marries 10 times. Azhar’s parents said that they were extremely happy on the twin-marriages whereas the brides felt the same too.
