hehehe I think none of these is Best.

But none of antivirus softwares are bad.. All have their Positive points..

Like symentic client is the lightest one

But Acc. to my experience AVG is Best one.

But Friends !!

Did you know kaspersky is the only antivirus sytem which has IPS.

And it also does not slow your computer ......??

With parental control system and great lab for antivirus. and you can also use it through life with updates by method !!

I think avast is best only , keep up to date this anti virus , it will not slow down ur pc. i am using it and i can challenge that there is no virus and spyware in my system !!!

Me confuse hoon.. acctually mein pehle AVG use kiya kerta tha.. per usse system kuch zyada hi secure ho jata hai.. bohot dikkat hoti thi.. to jab mera HD change hua to avast install ker liya meine suna tha ki woh achcha hai.. per abhi mujhe kisi ne kaha ki avast theek se virus detect nahi kerta.. use kisi ne mail ki thi aur usme virus tha aur avast detect nahi ker paya jiski wajah se use bohot problem hui.. ab samajh nhi paa raha ki kaun sa antivirus theek he..:crash:

Kaspersky,Symentic,Nortron,NOD32,AVG sab ko bari bari use kea...aj kal Avira use kr rahe hun.....

avoid using flash drives & cd's ...

I'm using my net-book without any anti-virus ...

Just follow these tips...

1- Don't directly open up flash drives & even your Disk Drives... use explore instead...

2- See the attached Image... Right click in the folder & goto view & then select "Details"...
This will change the view of your folder in details... While opening any file (even folders) you should look at the "Type" column... if there is "File Folder" you can open it but if there is "Application" you should think about it that if it's secure to open that file or not...

There are some worms that has icon of file folder but the details view will show "Application" in front of them , you should just simply delete them...

Bellow is the screenshot of a worm that I had created last year (using VB)... expected to let it spread in the university ... But not did ... because pehlay hi log viruses say preshan hain ... hahaha

ok, now see the attached image ... the virus file has icon of Media Player File ... Victim will think that it is a music file (chalo yeh wala song hi sun laitay hain) ...

But if you have switched the view to details you can easily distinguish that it's an application not any Media Player File...


also one more clue is to show the extensions of files (in this case you don't need to switch to details view you can just distinguish files with their extensions...)
