What is meant by Unlisted?

I've checked it in MS Encarta it says "not included in a telephone directory available to the public"

Matlab Phonebook main se 1000 Numbers choose karain tu un main woh numbers kitnay hoon gay, jo unlisted hain?

Agar yehi question hay tu iss ka answer simple hay keh "koi bhi nai..."
