I Can Spell My Life With Following Letters

It seems proper that I should prefix to the following biographical sketch, some mention of the reasons which have made me think it desirable that I should leave behind me such a memorial of so uneventful a life as mine. I do not for a moment imagine that any part of what I have to relate can be interesting to the public as a narrative, or as being connected with me. It has also seemed to me that in an age of transition in opinions, there may be somewhat both of interest and of benefit in noting the successive phases of any mind which was always pressing forward, equally ready to learn and to unlearn either from its own thoughts or from those of others. But a motive which weighs more with me than either of these, is a desire to make acknowledgment of the debts which my intellectual and moral development owes to other persons; some of them of recognized eminence, others less known than they deserve to be, and the one to whom most of all is due, one whom the world had no opportunity of knowing. The reader whom these things do not interest, has only himself to blame if he reads farther, and I do not desire any other indulgence from him than that of bearing in mind, that for him these pages were not written.

I belong to a farmers’ family who migrated from Amartsir, India to Pakistan before partition and settled in Chack No. 96/6-R of Distric Bhawal Nagar, Punjab. After getting early education my father came to Lahore in 1970’s and did his F.Sc (Pre Medical) from Islamia College Civil Lines, Lahore in 1972 and in 1978 started his career with King Edward Medical College, Lahore. My mother, a high school teacher by profession, is also belongs to a farmers’ family residing at Rahim Yar Khan City (Punjab) since long ago.

My beginning as a legally recognized individual occurred on March 19, 1986 in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, in a hospital that no longer exists. Of course I can't consciously remember anything from the first two or three years of my life after birth (And, also, one suspects, psychologically, that the earliest memories have become "memories of memories" and are Comparable to traditional folk tales passed on by tellers and listeners from generation to generation). But facts are available when direct memory fails for many circumstances.

After completing my formal education at home, I got admitted in Salman Public School, Inside Bhati Gate, Lahore for primary education in 1989. When I completed my primary education, my father had expatriated to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection with his employment as Medical Secretary in King Fahd Teaching Hospital of the University, Al-Khobar. After my primary education I got opportunity to spend a memorial period of my life with my family in one and only peaceful and one of the glorious country of the world (i.e. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), where I did my education up to middle standard from Saudi Arabia International School (Pakistani Section) in 1998 and I found it, the most beautiful and well disciplined school of my academic period of life. There, I got chance to learn from teachers of various nationalities. During my stay at Saudi Arabia I have learnt and experience many things. These were the sensational days of life regarding my intellectual and moral development. Some of the most breathtaking and spectacular moments of life, I spend there, are going out on week-ends to sea-sides, visiting of Behrain Bridge, King Fahd University’s Bay of Half-moon also taking bath in sea over there, enjoying barbeque on weekend nights at beach. Then that moment also came for which I have often wished, the Almighty Allah brought me to his Holy City of Makah to perform Umrah and to visit the Holy city of Madina-al-Munawara where I also visited “Zayarat” (e.g. Masajid-e-Khamsa, Battle field / Mountain of Ohd, Masjid-e-Qubah, Battle Field of khandak, Hira Cave etc.). The most remarkable thing that I have experienced during the road journey of distance about 1400-1500 kms through by the deserts and mountains from Al-Khobar to both the holy cities had been covered safely and fearlessly within just 13-14 hours including stay about one hour.

After middle standard education over there, I came back to Pakistan along with my two brothers, but my parents were still there. On coming back, I had faced problem in finding a reputed institution with boarding facility for my matriculation. Finally we had found “Misali Public School, 21 kms Raiwind Road, Lahore, from where I did my matric in 2002, although at that time, the school had not a very good hostel facility but still had a very good educational atmosphere. The interesting thing was that we were granted 3 holidays monthly to visit our homes, and the whole month we were in waiting those days and even we knew that we would be punished for any absentee right back the monthly holidays but still we dare it. In spite of good educational environment, unfortunately I could not performed very well and got just 619/850 marks that created a lot of problem for me in getting admission in some renowned college. Anyhow, I got admission in Mansoora Model Degree College, Wahdat Road, Lahore in F.Sc. (Pre-engineering) and started my education keeping in view that now I must have to got good marks for my future. One again, I got victimized of slackness in my studies and subsequently, I failed to achieve my goal and got just 688/1100 marks. I wanted to go for B.Sc. in Engineering but my marks had not allowed me for this. Now I have only few options for further study. I was interested in BCS, but my father advised me for Diploma of Associate Engineering in Auto & Diesel Technology, probably at that time it was in his mind that now this is the only channel of education that can lead me towards Engineering if I could be able to get good marks in it. And still at the other side in case of failure at least I would have a technical skill in my hand to run a small business of my own in my relevant field.

So in 2004 I got admission in one of the best technical Colleges of Punjab (i-e Government College of Technology, Railway Road, Lahore). Now I committed with myself to rectify my previous neglects. So, by the grace of Allah Almighty, I did it, by scoring first positions during all the 3 years of my DAE in Punjab Board of Technical Education in my Technology. It was a breathtaking moment of my life when I was awarded Gold-medal Award (on scoring first position) by Lt. General (Rtd.) Mr. Khalid Maqbool, The Governor of Punjab at the Children Library Complex, Lahore on Saturday 17th November 2007.

I applied for admission in UET, Lahore. Even I have 80% marks in DAE but still I could not be able to get admission in engineering due to low scoring entry test marks. Now I had to wait for one year to apply for admission in B-Tech because of the late announcement of DAE result. So, I decided to go for a job and joined as Quality Control Inspector, Sazgar Engineering (Pvt) Limited, 17 kms Raiwind Road, Lahore. During this period of one year I got experience in various sections of the factory from October 2007 to October 2008. Then I have been granted admission in B.Tech. (Auto & Diesel Technology) at Government College of Technology, Railway Road, Lahore. Meanwhile, it came to my notice that University of Lahore is going to start the class of B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, so I applied for that. After completing all codal formalities for admission, I was declared successful and the University of Lahore granted me admission in B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering which at present is going on very well.

Here I also met an interesting incidence that I found some of my friends / college fellows of F.Sc. in this university. One of them is serving this university after completing his B.Sc. Electrical Engineering while the other has also recently completed his B.Sc. in Electronics.
