ya meri tarah sirf ashk bahati hogi

Woh meri shakl mera mera naam bhoolane wali
us tasveer se kya aankh milati hogi

Shaam hote hi woh chaukhat pe jala ker shamayien
Apni palkon pe kayi khawab sulati hogi

Usne silwa bhi liye honge siyaah rang libaas
ab moharram ki tarah eid manati hogi

Hoti hogi mere bause ki talab me pagal
jab bhi zulfon me phool sajati hogi

Mere taareek zamane se nikalne wali
roshni tujhko meri yaad dilati hogi

Dil ki maasoom ragien khud hi sulagti hongi
junhin tasveer ka kona woh jalati hogi

Roop de ker mujhe usme kisi sehzade ka
apne bachchon ko woh kahani sunati hogi
