Saza ki tarah kaati hay zindagi humne
Nibah di hai mager waj-he-dosti hum ne

Jahan pe koi kisi ka nazar nahi aata
rah-e-hayat main dekhe hain woh mod bhi humne

Khayal aapka achhi tarah samajhte hain
liya hay jayeza ban-ban k ajnabi humne

Khuda ma`af kare tum ko hazrate wayez
bahut suni hay tumhari buri bhali hum ne

Tumhara rasta rokay thay ban kay jo kaanta
woh baat pahle hi dil se nikal di humne

Woh zindagi jo amanat kabhi khuda ki thi
woh ja kay ek bute kafir ko saump di humne

Usay bhi sab ne farishta bana kay chhor diya
jis aadmi ko banaya tha aadmi humne

Samajh chuka tha zamana kay mar gaye hain hum
azal kay hath se chheni hay zindagi hum ne
